July 2011 - "Flavor of the Month" ice cream cone, part 1 of 2. Needle Pointers magazine May 2003. A study in Bargello stitches. August 2011 - To be decided. September 2011 - Conventions and seminars. Attendees share techniques learned and projects stitched. October 2011 - Date with a Plaid. How to design a personal plaid commemorating a special date. We will also explore how to stitch plaids on the diagonal. November 2011 - "Flavor of the Month: ice cream cone, part 2 of 2. January 2012 - A heart, just in time for Valentine's Day. February 2012 - Surfing. Exploring websites offering patterns, stitching advice, etc. If you have a favorite site, please contact the Program Chair so she can include it in this program. March 2012 - Stitching Tool Reticule. "Molecules of Fiber" by Orna Willis - www.caron-net.com - will be taught in two parts during the stitch-in portion of the chapter meeting. April 2012 - Design Your Own Kachina Mask. Using templates we will draw a Hopi sun kachina face and explore stitches to use. Samples will be shown to help you choose just the stitch and just the fiber to make your kachina. May 2012 - To Be Decided.
